Megan had a fantastic opportunity to go to the BBC studio and meet the one and only author Jaqueline Wilson.
As well as meeting Jaqueline Wilson she met the TV presenters of Blue Peter, Radzi and Lynsey. They had an amazing time there.
Megan even got to interview Jaqueline Wilson and here is a clip of her time in Manchester.

We started our narrative topic and we magpied some ideas from our class novel Kensuke’s Kingdom.
We picked out some effective features and had to explain why we chose them and the impact it had on the reader.
Next our class improved openings so we are ready to plan and write our own survival narrative.
We had so much fun learning some new singing skills.
Thank you to Anita and Duncan.
In PE we had the chance to use dance mats, Mrs Fielding even had a go! We improved as we practiced the moves. Dance mat 3 team, won in the end.
Well done to everybody who made a boat and it floated.
